Trump Family Hosts Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at Trump Toronto

The Trump family made an appearance earlier this week to host a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Trump International Hotel & Tower to celebrate the official grand opening of the property.

Donald appeared with his daughter Ivanka and sons Eric and Donald Jr. to commemorate Trump Hotel Collection's newest addition to Canada.

Donald Trump and Ivanka Trump are welcomed by staff at the new Trump International Hotel & Tower Toronto.

The family members were presented with gold-plated scissors to do the honors and were joined by Jim Petrus, COO, Trump Hotel Collection and Alex Shnaider, Chairman, Talon International Development Inc.

As part of the ceremony, John-Michael Liles from the Toronto Maple Leafs and JP Arencibia from the Toronto Bluejays presented Trump with monogramed jerseys to honor the event.

The Trump International Hotel & Tower has been open since January and currently holds the distinction of being Canada's tallest residential building.
