Kicking off the HR & Diversity Summit
The inaugural HR & Diversity Summit, presented by Lodging Media in conjunction with the Boston University School of Hospitality Administration, began on Wednesday at the Omni Parker House in Boston.
The opening reception, sponsored by Wyndham Hotel Group, brought in industry icons, as well as influential leaders from other disciplines, for a night full of good food, networking, and fun.
Edward McNeill, president of McNeill Media Group, parent company of Lodging Media, and Christopher Muller, dean of the Boston University School of Hospitality Administration, welcomed guests and colleagues to the kick-off event.
The three-day conference features panels and discussions that will address topics such as creating buy-in, mentoring for leadership roles, supplier diversity, getting financing, franchising, education and recruitment, diversity ownership, and entrepreneurship.
