A Sneak Peek of The Alexander Hotel
 In January, Dolce Hotels and Resorts will open its 18th property in North America with The Alexander Hotel in downtown Indianapolis, and we're finally getting a glimpse of what guests can expect from the new property. The hotel was developed by Indianapolis-based Buckingham Companies and designed by the noted architecture firm, Gensler.
Located in the heart of CityWay, a new 14-acre neighborhood that also includes residential, office, and retail space in the heart of downtown Indianapolis. The hotel will feature 209 guestrooms including extended-stay suites. The property will also offer over 16 meeting rooms totaling 16,000 square feet of function space.
The property will also contain an 800 square foot fitness facility that offers two treatment rooms and a fitness center equipped with treadmills, elliptical machines, stationary bikes, weights, and a training glide.
For a unique spin on amenities, the The Alexander is working in collaboration with the Indianapolis Museum of Art to display more than 40 works of contemporary art, which will be on view throughout the hotel's public spaces. In addition, the Plat99 mixology cocktail lounge space inside the hotel was designed by acclaimed artist Jorge Pardo.
