Denihan Hospitality Group Donates to the Food Bank for NYC
During the holidays, plenty of hotels and corporate hospitality groups get into the spirit of season by hosting food drives, collecting for Toys for Tots, volunteering at local shelters and community organizations, and more. And the employees of Denihan Hospitality Group showed did their part to bring holiday cheer to New York-based residents by donating to the the Food Bank for NYC.
After experiencing the devastating affect that Hurricane Sandy had on the local community, Denihan decided to put collection bins in each of its NYC-based hotels as well as its corporate headquarters. The company collected 12 bins filled with canned goods and non-perishable food that were filled by Denihan employees and staff members. The collection totaled nearly 1,000 pounds.

Last Friday, FlatRate Moving, the Food Bank’s official sponsor, sent a large truck to Denihan’s office to load all of Denihan’s collections and deliver them to the headquarters. The collected items will be distributed to families in need this holiday season.
On hand to explain the company’s partnership with and desire to help the Food Bank was President David Duncan and Director of Brand Integration Chrissy Denihan O’Donovan as well as other Denihan associates.
