B Ocean Resort Fort Lauderdale Names Executive Chef

chefdFORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.—B Ocean Resort in Fort Lauderdale has announced their new executive chef & B Adrian Deacon. Adrian will oversee all of the resort’s food and beverage operations and menu creation at B Ocean’s dining venues including the resort’s signature restaurant Dos Caminos, and the Wreck Bar.

Adrian comes to B Ocean Resort following two years as executive chef & B at Renaissance Carambola Beach Resort & Spa in St. Croix. Along with serving celebrity guests, he led efforts to improve overall food quality, onsite bookings for destination weddings, and implemented a romantic beach dinner service. Adrian has also served as executive chef at Coconut Bay Resort & Spa in St. Lucia, Richmond Marriott Downtown & Convention Center, Renaissance Fort Lauderdale: Plantation Hotel, and Wyndham Miami Airport.

Adrian has garnered several professional accomplishments throughout the course of his career including: winner of the top two categories of the 2014 Taste of St. Croix Culinary Competition at the island’s Annual Food & Wine Festival; executive chef to the Indianapolis Colts during the team’s two Super Bowl appearances in 2006 and 2009; and executive chef for a black-tie kickoff campaign event for President Obama and for Michelle Obama’s Healthy Kids Luncheon in Richmond, Va.

  1. Besides the jaw-dropping view from my room, I must admit that what impressed me mostly was the overall service and quality of the food. I have quite high standards when it comes to dining. Therefore, two fat thick thumbs up. Loved the article!
