Aparium Hotel Group Opens Hewing Hotel

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn.—Aparium Hotel Group, in a joint development effort with Fe Equus, announces Hewing Hotel, Minneapolis’s newest luxury boutique hotel, is now open. With the restoration of the historic Jackson Building in the city’s burgeoning North Loop neighborhood, Aparium Hotel Group has transformed a century-old brick and timber warehouse into a hotel with Scandinavian-inspired design and unique amenities that showcase Minnesota’s Nordic roots.

Like all Aparium Hotel Group hotels, Hewing Hotel leverages the building’s rich history in the project’s style and character. The 124-room property features rustic yet refined design that is interwoven gracefully into the building’s existing architecture and delivers subtle nods to the city’s history. While public spaces blend the building’s warehouse-driven interior architecture with decorative accents and local art that also speak to its cultured North Loop neighborhood, the Scandinavian-influenced guest rooms reference the city’s Nordic heritage with custom-made wall coverings and Faribault Woolen Mills blankets. Hotel amenities include a 24-hour fitness center with state-of-the-art equipment, a rooftop venue featuring a pool, a bar, and a sauna that seats up to 24 people. Opening simultaneously with the hotel is the onsite restaurant, Tullibee.
