Airbnb to Collect L.A. Lodging Taxes

    Airbnb and Los Angeles city officials have struck a deal that will have the short-term rental company begin collecting lodging taxes from rental hosts. The deal is expected to go into effect in August. Los Angeles is reportedly also seeking to strike similar agreements with other online rental platforms. Read more here.
