ABVI Adds 18 Hotels in First Quarter

CLEVELAND—Americas Best Value Inn added 18 new properties during the first quarter of 2014.

ABVI welcomed six additional properties in Texas (where it has more than 120 locations), including two in Houston and a 160-room property in Corpus Christi. Among the other additions are a 113-room inn in Wilmington, N.C.; a 93-room location in Hammond, La.; and properties in tourist destinations such as Augusta, Ga., and Ozark, Ark., which is on the southern edge of the Ozark Mountains.

ABVI’s 18 new inns, hotels, and suites totaled 1,162 rooms and included conversions from Best Western, Days Inn, and Travelodge.
