There’s good news in the lodging world, especially if you’re an optimist. All forecast point toward the beginnings of a return of demand, which hopefully will soon lead to a return to profitable rates. So, 2011 looks a little more promising than the year we are now closing out.
But just because it was another tough year, or maybe even because it was another tough year, hoteliers rolled up their collective sleeves and started to think of ways to not only weather the storm, but also to take the opportunity to do a little creative thinking. The result is a year that once again brought us a number of innovations in the industry, and once again, Lodging is pleased to present its annual list of innovators for 2010.
