Wyndham Opens in Canada’s Niagara Falls

 PARSIPPANY, N.J.—Wyndham Hotel Group, part of Wyndham Worldwide Corporation, today announced the addition of the 152-room Wyndham Garden Fallsview Niagara Falls in Ontario to the Wyndham Hotels and Resorts brand’s portfolio.
The opening expands Wyndham Hotel Group’s presence in Canada, which currently consists of 473 properties under the Ramada, Days Inn, Super 8, Wingate by Wyndham, Baymont Inn & Suites, Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham, TRYP by Wyndham, Howard Johnson, Travelodge, and Knights Inn hotel brands.
The full-service property, owned by Canop Investments Inc. and located in the Fallsview district of Niagara Falls, recently completed a total, multi-million-dollar overhaul which included the addition of a newly constructed tower, floors, and guest rooms.
“We’re very proud to bring the Wyndham brand to Canada with the addition of Wyndham Garden Fallsview Niagara Falls, in a renowned North American destination for both business and leisure travel,” said John Green, brand senior vice president of Wyndham Hotels and Resorts, in an announcement. “This addition reflects our company’s commitment to expand the Wyndham brand in markets around the world where travelers seek convenient lodging, upscale services and the utmost in hospitality.”
Guest rooms and suites at Wyndham Garden Fallsview Niagara Falls offer 37-inch flat screen televisions, and complimentary high-speed wired and wireless Internet. Bathrooms feature pearl gray quartz countertops. All accommodations on the hotel’s ninth floor are appointed with wall-to-wall windows and select guest rooms throughout the hotel include Jacuzzi tubs.
The hotel also features an indoor heated pool and hot tub, 24-hour fitness center, and arcade. Business travelers and groups can take advantage of the property’s business center and 700 square feet of meeting and event space for up to 60 people.
