The Meritage Resort and Spa Completes $40 million Expansion

 NAPA, Calif.—The Meritage Resort and Spa in Napa has completed a privately financed, $40 million expansion and renovation. The project took 19 months to complete and includes a new lounge with bowling lanes, an event piazza, a cafe, and 50,000 square feet of meeting space.
With the expansion, The Meritage has more than doubled the number of rooms it offers, held eight job fairs to hire 100 new staff/team members, and remodeled its main lobby to accommodate the additional guests.
165 guestrooms and suites were added to the property and each includes a workspace, refrigerator, and a private patio or balcony. During the expansion a multi-level lounge was built that includes a pool table, bowling alleys, shuffleboard, and high-top and lounge seating. Also included in the project was an upgraded fitness studio which totals 1,650 square feet.
