Tangerine Hotel Completes Rebranding and Renovation

 BURBANK, Calif.—Tangerine Hotel, located in Burbank, Calif., is celebrating a new name and a new look.
When Amitesh Damudar stepped into the role of owner/operator, he began a complete renovation of the property with a vision the ‘50s-era in mind.
“We worked within the obvious limitations of an older motel property and utilized minimalist elements such as wood, glass, metal and concrete to create a modern and colorful visual experience while retaining the retro charm of the original structure,” says Amitesh, in an announcement. “We also wanted to redefine the classic motel room experience by offering our guests a complete upgrade in overall quality and service. It really is motel version 2.0.”
Featuring custom-designed artwork, rooms at the Tangerine Hotel are appointed with ceasarstone countertops, Grohe fixtures, and polished cement floors. Standard amenities for all rooms include 32”wall-mounted LCD TV, satellite TV with HBO, refrigerator, WiFi along with secure hardwire connection, and iPod docking stations.
