Solís Hotels & Resorts to Open in Lake Tai, Suzhou

SINGAPORE—Solís Hotels & Resorts announced today an agreement with Fantasia Holdings Group Co., Ltd., a property developer and property-related service provider in China, to develop and manage Solís Lake Tai, Suzhou. The 300-room hotel is scheduled to open in 2013.
Solís Lake Tai will feature five-star accommodations for both business and leisure travelers. The hotel will encompass 250 rooms and suites and 50 villas, two restaurants, a lobby lounge, full-service conference and meeting center, indoor swimming pool, spa, fitness center, and roof-top garden.
“We are honored to join with Fantasia Holdings to bring Solís to the historic city of Suzhou,” said Evan Kwee, Director for Solís Hotels & Resorts, in an announcement. “Solís Lake Tai, Suzhou will showcase our renowned service standards with distinctive design elements and a host of world-class amenities and innovations.”
Interior designer Jaya Ibrahim of Jaya International Design will integrate art and nature in the design that mirrors Chinese landscape architecture.
The hotel’s 2,575-square-meters of function space will feature a 900-square-meter grand ballroom, six additional meeting rooms, a Board Room, VIP Room and pre-function space with garden and water views.
