Rezidor Announces the Radisson Blu Resort, Tsinandali in Georgia
BRUSSELS—The Rezidor Hotel Group announced the Radisson Blu Resort, Tsinandali in Georgia. The property featuring 100 rooms is scheduled to welcome the first guests in 2014. Tsinandali lies in the province of Kakheti, a popular tourism region of Georgia; east of the capital city Tbilisi and bordered by the Greater Caucasus Mountains to the North. READER COMMENTS

The new hotel building, designed by New York based architect John Fotiadis, will be partly linked to the rehabilitated wine estate on the property. It will include 100 rooms, a restaurant with outdoor terrace, a lounge, as well as cigar and pool bars. Uniquely the property will feature an original wine cellar of over 4,000 square meters, exclusively available for special occasions and tastings. Additional leisure facilities include spa facilities, a gym, a relaxation area, and an infinity swimming pool.
