Renaissance Hotels Debuts Newest Address in Turkey

 LONDON—Marriott International, Inc. announced the opening of its ninth hotel in Turkey, the 212-room Renaissance Istanbul Bosphorus Hotel operating under a franchise agreement with Polat Holding A.S.
“We are excited to open this magnificent new addition to our Renaissance Hotels portfolio in Europe,” said Amy McPherson, president and managing director for Marriott International in Europe, in an announcement. “Istanbul is a vibrant, cosmopolitan city where rich history and sublime architecture can be enjoyed alongside eclectic culture, arts and nightlife. Turkey offers tremendous opportunity for development, and we see huge potential for continued growth across all of our brands here.”
The 20-story Renaissance Istanbul Bosphorus Hotel features a rooftop bar, a lobby bar, bistro, and all-day dining restaurant with outdoor terrace serving Mediterranean cuisine with Turkish specialties. For leisure and relaxation, there is a fitness center including an indoor pool, sauna, steam room, and Turkish bath.
The hotel has 212 guestrooms and suites. Flexible meeting space, including a ballroom divisible into three sections, caters for all manner of meeting and social events.
The Renaissance Istanbul Bosphorus Hotel joins eight existing properties in Marriott International’s portfolio in Turkey, including the newly opened JW Marriott Hotel Ankara and EDITION Istanbul. READER COMMENTS
