Hilton Salt Lake City Center Embarks on a $10 Million Enhancement Project
5/2/2012
SALT LAKE CITY—Hilton Salt Lake City Center announced plans for a multi-million dollar guestroom enhancement project. The hotel will modernize its 479 guestrooms and 20 suites with new furnishings and fixtures. The corridors on all guest floors will also be updated with new carpeting and wall coverings, planned by Design Atelier.
The renovation is part of a three-year, $3 billion plan of significant property renovations currently underway across the global portfolio of Hilton Hotels & Resorts, the flagship brand of Hilton Worldwide.
The updates to all of the renovated guest rooms and suites will include new Hilton Serenity Beds, 38-inch LCD televisions, Cuisinart coffeemakers, an in-room work desk, a lounge chair with ottoman and a beverage station. Updated lighting and artwork will complete the look. Guest bathrooms will also include wall-to-wall backlit mirrors, granite countertops and new artwork.
The room renovation project will be completed on three restricted floors at a time, and will not impact guests’ experience. The recently redone meeting rooms, restaurants and lobby as well as fitness and pool areas will remain fully operational during the project. READER COMMENTS
