Hilton London Wembley Officially Opens

 LONDON—Hilton Hotels & Resorts announced the official opening of its new landmark hotel, Hilton London Wembley, just 10 days before the start of the London Olympics.
In an announcement, Dave Horton, global head, Hilton Hotels & Resorts, said, "We are excited about this latest opening for Hilton Hotels & Resorts in London. This uniquely placed hotel couples a stylish and contemporary look, with a sense of quintessential Britishness in the hotel's design."
Situated directly opposite Wembley Stadium, the 361-room hotel features a two-floor feature wall depicting the greatest events in the history of Wembley Stadium and a custom made art installation displaying a sequence of hand-painted porcelain plates following and illustrating the route of the River Thames.
With architecture and interior design by The Manser Practice, the 281,650 square foot Hilton London Wembley includes 18 suites, a 660-capacity ballroom, 10 meeting rooms, business center, boardroom, executive lounge, 200 on-site parking spaces, and a LivingWell Health Club, complete with 12-meter pool, sauna, steam room, whirlpool, and 24-hour gym for hotel guests.
The hotel also includes a ninth floor roof bar, Sky Bar 9 and a hotel restaurant named The Association, which seats up to 280 guests.
