Best Western Opens First Premier in Brazil

PONTA NEGRA NATAL, Brazil—Best Western International continues its expansion in South America with the addition of the chain’s first Best Western Premier hotel in Brazil, the Best Western Premier Majestic Ponta Negra Beach.
The five-star hotel contains 135 rooms and 15 suites. There are now 17 hotels in Brazil that represent the Best Western brand.
“Best Western is well positioned as one of the largest global hotel brands in Brazil, and as people continue to discover Brazil both for leisure and business travel we’re confident they’ll find that our hotels offer the right level of amenities and hospitality,” said David Kong, president and CEO of Best Western International, in an announcement. “By 2017, our goal is to develop and open an additional 20 hotels in Brazil with the majority operating at the Best Western Plus and Best Western Premier levels.”
The hotel features free Wi-Fi, complimentary breakfast, a cocktail lounge, outdoor pool, 24-hour room service, concierge service, and meeting and conference facilities.
In South America, there are more than 40 hotels that carry the Best Western flag in eight countries, including Venezuela, Chile, Columbia, Peru, Uruguay, Argentina, and Surinam. READER COMMENTS
