Patrick Mullinix, Vantage Hospitality
Vantage Hospitality Group announced that Patrick Mullinix has been promoted to executive vice president of membership development, and that everyone on the development team will now be cross-selling all brands under the Vantage umbrella. Mullinix joined Vantage Hospitality in 2002 and has been directing development for the Americas Best Value Inn brand. During his tenure, ABVI has set industry records for growth and currently ranks as the 10th largest hotel chain worldwide with over 1,000 properties. In addition, Mullinix has increased the total number of Americas Best Value Inns in Texas to over 120 locations, making it the fastest-growing hotel chain in the state. In an effort to continue the expansion of Americas Best Value Inn, Mullinix introduced the first new construction prototype for the brand in 2006 and was instrumental in the 2007 launch of ABVI's weekly webcasts. Mullinix will now also oversee domestic development of the Lexington by Vantage brand, which is a collection of inns, hotels and suites in the midscale to upscale segments.
