PGA National Resort & Spa Unveils New Suites
 The PGA National Resort & Spa, located in Palm Beach, Fla., may be a golf-centric destination as the host of the PGA Tour Honda Classic, but it appeals to all types of guests who are searching for a little bit of relaxation and luxury. Sure, the property boasts five resort and championship level golf courses, but it also has a lineup of new suites to appease every type of traveler.
The resort recently revealed three types of designer suites that are part of the hotel's overall $100 million renovation. The speciality rooms were designed by Boston’s award-winning CBT Architects and all of them provide high-tech living rooms along with private terraces or balconies.
“Our individually-themed suites showcase the lavish attention to detail we provide our guests,” says Joel Paige, vice president and managing director of the resort. “CBT Architects did a wonderful job creating our specialized accommodations for honeymooners, spa lovers, sports fanatics, business retreats and golf groups to have the ultimate South Florida resort experience.”
One-bedroom “Media Rooms” take the man-cave concept to a whole new level. Large screen HD TVs, rich chocolate countertops, glass tiles and comfortable wrap-around sofas all make for the ultimate media experience for watching the big game.
The “Bridal Spa” suites include soothing champagne colors, wool carpeting, and elegant furnishings. Limestone bathroom walls, a relaxing, large soaking tub, and walk-in shower complete the décor.
Two elegant “Spa Suites” feature soothing ocean or rich earthen tones, king-size beds, spacious living area with sofas and comfortable side chairs, and large soaking tubs and walk-in showers. A second door from the bathroom leads to a private spa area complete with a professional massage table. In-room massages and facials are available on request.
